VACANCY-LEGAL OFFICER

The LEGAL OFFICER will work closely with the Advocacy and Legal Advice Center (ALAC), an independent platform to enable citizens to freely report and seek redress to corruption and other integrity-related issues within their communities, counties, and the country at large. He/she will provide legal advice to Whistleblowers and Victims of Corruption. Mainly, the LEGAL OFFICER will provide technical support to the project, process complaints, and provide Legal Advice to citizens (victims and witnesses) of Corruption, as well as support advocacy efforts aimed at strengthening legal frameworks and systems governing the fight against corruption in the country. He/she will work closely with his/her counterparts at key public integrity institutions to ensure that cases reported through ALAC and other mechanisms are timely processed for prosecution, where necessary. He/she will also support the organization’s legal compliance and perform related tasks.
